My Story
HI, I'M ALEX
My interest in photography began on my grandfather's film camera in highschool where I was able to learn how to develop my own photos in the school's darkroom (aging myself a bit here?). I then attended college at the University of Central Florida where I majored in Elementary Education and started my teaching career in 3rd grade. After teaching for 6 years, I left the teaching world to be a stay-at-home mom. I soon took up digital photography out of a desire to document my kids' milestones and childhood. I wanted to be able to do that for other families too, and get such joy out of capturing the love between them. I'd love to have the opportunity to photograph your family and produce images you'll treasure forever.
Capturing your family authentically
Just be ready to show up and interact with your family genuinely. I like to "let kids be kids" and create an enjoyable experience for everyone. When photos are forced, that translates in the images. Joy and love also translate through images, and that's what I strive to document.
Things I love:
- Playing with my 2 boys, Leo and Finn
- Baking cookies, muffins, pies, anything with chocolate
- Sci-fi and Fantasy books
- Attempting to grow vegetables and flowers
